How many more bases on target can I get when using adaptive sampling?

How many more bases on target can I get when using adaptive sampling?

A typical factor for additional output on target is around 3-7x, depending on the size of the region of interest, the properties of the sample and load on the device.

Please keep in mind that the theoretical maximum gain is the inverse of the proportion of the number of reads which match your target. This means, the more you target, the lower you potential for enrichment. An ideal targeting range is between 0 and 5% of the sample, with a recommended maximum of 10%.

More information about adaptive sampling can be found in the guide here.
