All nanopore sequencing devices should be placed in an environment that meets the temperature range requirements avoiding being placed near direct heat sources, direct sunlight and should have a 30cm clearance around all sides and top of the device and vents should not be blocked. This is to ensure the device is able to hold the correct sequencing temperature, incorrect positioning of the device may result in sequencing performance issues or runs stopping prematurely.
