Direct-from-colony rapid microbial sequencing for Salmonella serotyping using SQK-RPB114.24 (DCM_9210_V114_revF_11Nov2025)

11th November 2025 - In section 1, in the Table under 'Library preparation', the timing for the priming and loading a flow cell was increased from 5 min to 10 min. And in 'Compatibility of this protocol', MinION Mk1B was removed, along with its link for IT requirements as this device document has moved to legacy. - In section 3, 'Library preparation', a note was added to check your flow cell and to use the barcode wells only once. - In section 4, 'Priming and loading the MinION/GridION Flow Cell', a tip was added to bring the flow cell to room temperature for better visibility of the array. The addition of BSA to the flow cell priming mix was changed from a 'recommended' to a 'required' instruction. A note was added to the end of this section to explain that when a flow cell is inserted into the MinION Mk1D, there will be a small gap around the sides of the device. - Links in section 6, 'Downstream analysis' were updated.
