Mavis Tan, Clinical Sales Specialist, APAC , Oxford Nanopore TechnologiesMavis Tan is a Clinical Sales Specialist at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, leading efforts to drive adoption of the Nanopore sequencing platform for clinical applications. With over a decade of experience in the life sciences industry, Mavis combines deep technical expertise with proven commercial success. She spent more than seven years in technical support and training across Asia Pacific, supporting scientists in Applied Biosystems Real-Time PCR, Capillary Electrophoresis, Microarray, and Ion Torrent Next-Generation Sequencing, before moving into sales and business development roles. Prior to joining Oxford Nanopore, she was Business Development Manager, Pharmacogenomics (PGx) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she worked closely with healthcare leaders to implement PGx in national programs, hospitals, and service laboratories - bridging cutting-edge technology with impactful real-world implementation.
