Should I use the Short Fragment Buffer (SFB) or the Long Fragment Buffer (LFB)?

  • To enrich for DNA fragments of 3 kb or longer, use Long Fragment Buffer (LFB).

  • If your DNA fragments are shorter than 3 kb, to ensure you retain DNA fragments of all sizes, use Short Fragment Buffer (SFB).
