Justin Becker is a medical oncologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital and a post-doctoral researcher in Bradley Bernstein’s lab at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He has a longstanding interest in the epigenetic regulation of ‘genomic dark matter’ and its role in human biology and cancer. Justin obtained his MD and PhD in the combined program at the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed his medical training in internal medicine and medical oncology at Mass General and Dana-Farber. His clinical focus is on the treatment of patients with lung cancer, which has motivated his interest in the relationship between epigenetic mechanisms and anti-tumor immunity.
