The EPI2ME Desktop Application expects an internet connection. The application installs and updates workflows upon user request; workflows are not preinstalled. The Nextflow code for the workflows is downloaded from GitHub, Docker containers are downloaded from DockerHub and example datasets are downloaded from the EPI2ME AWS bucket.
