PromethION Flow Cells should not be QC’ed at the time of delivery.

Please only check a flow cell the day before or on the day you are planning to load a library. If you have a limited number of flow cells available, we recommend that you check them before starting the library preparation. Please let the flow cell come to room temperature for 30 minutes before testing.

If it passes the QC check, please leave the flow cell plugged into the position and load the finished library onto the flow cell while it remains connected to the device.
