- In 'Overview of the protocol', the links for the EPI2ME 16S workflow were updated. And in the Table under 'Library preparation', the timing for the flow cell priming and loading was changed from 5 min to 10 min. In 'Compatibility of this protocol' MinION Mk1B and MinION Mk1C were removed along with their links for IT requirements as these documents have moved to legacy. This also includes removal of links to their user manuals in 'Data acquisition and basecalling'.
- In section 3, 'PCR amplification', check your flow cell, the link for the flow cell check was edited.
In section 4, 'Amplicon barcoding', an important note was added to only use the barcode wells once.
- In section 6, 'Priming and loading the MinION/GridION Flow Cell', a tip was added to bring the flow cell to room temperature for better visibility of the array.
