Since the beginning of 2018, the Bioinformatic group has offered an Oxford Nanopore sequencing service (GridION, PromethION), which allows other laboratories to have access to the third generation Next Generation Sequencing technology at competitive pricing.
Techniques offered: whole-genome sequencing, metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, multiplexed amplicon sequencing, direct RNA sequencing, custom applications (Cas9, adaptive sampling).
Areas of research offered: bacterial genomics, viral genomics, custom applications, diagnostic applications.
