Dr. Kipp is a Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, and Division Chair of Mayo Clinic Genetics and Genomics Laboratory in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He is a board-certified clinical molecular geneticist with an interest in clinical oncology testing. His research interests include the development of molecular genetic assays for the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of solid tumors; clinical next- generation sequencing (NGS) technology for hereditary and somatic diseases; and molecular cytology and circulating tumor assays for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of multiple cancer types. Dr. Kipp has published over 165 peer-reviewed articles, multiple book chapters, and he has spoken both nationally and internationally about the rapidly changing world of molecular pathology.
