Dr Javeria Aijaz leads molecular pathology and biorepository sections at Indus Hospital & Health Network, Pakistan. Her research focuses on implementing nanopore sequencing for pediatric cancer diagnostics in resource-limited settings through collaborations with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and University of North Carolina, USA. She is currently validating Oxford Nanopore Technologies platforms for tuberculosis drug resistance profiling, and pediatric acute leukemia classification. Her work aims to make advanced molecular diagnostics accessible in low-resource settings through cost-effective nanopore sequencing solutions.
