Anna completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and specialized in Applied Bioinformatics during her Master’s studies at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz. In 2019, Anna started her PhD in the Leibniz-Institute for Resilience Research and in 2022 she started to work as a bioinformatician in diagnostics at the Institute of Human Genetics, University Medical Center in Mainz. Throughout her research, Anna's primary focus has revolved around the analysis of next-generation and
third-generation sequencing data, investigating transcriptomics factors within mouse models and clinical contexts, including direct RNA sequencing and the detection of RNA modifications.- Recent publications
